Girl Friday: a female office worker who does different types of work

Super Saturday: the last Saturday before Christmas Day, the day on which shops expect to make the most money in the whole year

“Supermarkets have prepared for Super Saturday to be their biggest day of the year.”

In one’s Sunday best: your best clothes, which you wear on special occasions

“This is going to be a formal event, so please come dressed in your Sunday best.”
